Welcome to PuzzledPuzzles. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Account Creation and Responsibilities

To access certain features of PuzzledPuzzles, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account. You may not transfer or share your account credentials with others.

2. Subscription Terms

PuzzledPuzzles offers both free and paid subscription plans:

Free Plan

The free plan provides access to the Mona Lisa puzzle collection, daily puzzle challenges, and basic features at no cost. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free plan at any time.

Pro Subscription ($4/month)

The Pro subscription provides access to all puzzle collections, ad-free experience, exclusive weekly puzzles, and leaderboard access. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the monthly subscription fee of $4 USD, charged automatically each month
• Billing occurs on the same day each month as your initial subscription date
• Subscription automatically renews unless you cancel before the next billing date
• Cancellations can be made at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
• Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months or unused subscription time

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

When using PuzzledPuzzles, you agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or collect data from our service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from our service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Use the service to spam or send unsolicited messages
• Manipulate leaderboards or game mechanics through cheating or exploits

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on PuzzledPuzzles, including but not limited to puzzle artwork, game mechanics, design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of RL Jarrett Associates or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The puzzle artworks featured in PuzzledPuzzles include public domain masterpieces (such as the Mona Lisa and Starry Night) as well as original designs and adaptations. Our unique puzzle-within-puzzle game mechanics and presentation are proprietary.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use PuzzledPuzzles for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content
• Use our content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Frame or mirror any part of our service without written permission

5. User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other content to PuzzledPuzzles, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that content into our service without attribution or compensation.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and retry the charge. If payment cannot be processed after reasonable attempts, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PUZZLEDPUZZLES AND RL JARRETT ASSOCIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Service interruptions or errors
• Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PUZZLEDPUZZLES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• That defects will be corrected
• That the service is free of viruses or other harmful components

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service.

9. Termination of Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Prolonged inactivity
• At our sole discretion if we believe termination is necessary

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using the account deletion feature in your account settings.

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the service immediately ceases
• We may delete your account data, including puzzle progress
• Paid subscriptions are not refunded for early termination (unless required by law)
• Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through the service.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of PuzzledPuzzles shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and RL Jarrett Associates regarding your use of PuzzledPuzzles and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
